PRIVACY POLICY - Information about Publishing Research Laboratories (“we”, “our” “us”)
- This policy (together with our end user licence agreement) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you or any of your employees provide to us, will be processed by us. This policy may be updated from time to time.
- For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998, we are the data controller. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 06197563 and have our registered office at 34 High Street, Lenham, Maidstone, Kent ME17 2QD.
- Information we may collect from you
We may collect and process the following data about you: - Information that you or your employees provide by filling in forms on www.intelligentflatplan.com (the Site). This includes personal information provided at the time of registering on the Site, using our products or services, or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information if you report a problem with the Site, or you may provide information by way of feedback on our Site, products and services (although you are not obliged to do so);
- If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence;
- Details of transactions you carry out through the Site and of the fulfilment of your orders;
- Details of your visits to the Site and the resources that you access.
- Accuracy
- We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that any information we hold about you is accurate and current. Please update your information as necessary.

- IP Addresses and Cookies
- We may collect information about your computer including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
- For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a “cookie” file which is stored on your computer’s hard drive. A "cookie" is a small piece of information sent by a web server to a web browser, which enables the server to collect information from the browser. “Cookies” contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive.
- You may refuse to accept “cookies” by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of the Site.
- Please note that our advertisers may also use “cookies”, over which we have no control.
- Where we store your personal data
- Given that the internet is a global environment, using the internet to collect and process personal data necessarily involves the transmission of data on an international basis. Some of the processors engaged to process personal data may be based outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). Therefore, by browsing the Site and communicating electronically with us, you acknowledge and agree to our processing of your data in this way.
- The data that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored at, 34, High Street, Lenham, Kent, ME172QD and stored on our dedicated server managed and hosted by www.rackspace.co.uk in the UK. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take such steps as we consider reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
- Any payment transactions will be processed by Worldpay or Payment Solutions Limited in accordance with their security and privacy policies. You should check their privacy and security policies before submitting any data to them so that you know what use may be made of your data and what operational and technological measures they have in place to safeguard your data.
- Any sensitive information (such as credit or debit card details) you enter is encrypted and protected with 128 Bit encryption on SSL. When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear on your screen and you will notice the web address “https:…”. Other details such as your name and address are sent over the internet without being encrypted, and this means of transmission is never guaranteed to be completely secure. Information you send over the internet is, therefore, sent at your own risk.
- Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of the Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
- How your personal data is used
We use information held about you in the following ways: - To help us identify any changes we can make to improve the Site;
- To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you;
- To carry out any obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;
- To notify you about changes to our products, services and new features and updates on the Site.

- If Publishing Research Laboratories Limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets;
- If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our end user licence agreement and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Publishing Research Laboratories Limited, our customers, or others. - When you are making a payment to us through the Site, the information you give, such as your credit card number and contact information is provided to a supplier company so that the transaction can take place.
- Any details you give us will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Our notification number issued by the Office of the Information Commissioner is XXX.
- Your rights
- Subject to clause 7, we will not disclose any of your personal data unless we have sought and received your explicit permission.

- The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access information held about you. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

Any changes we make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
